Project: The Twin Cities sub-regional water supply

This project will help to:

• propose an institutional framework for regional/sub-regional planning and coordination of drinking water supplies
• identify and evaluate water supply options for the Metro area to ensure a sustainable source of drinking water
• increase the reliability and security of core Twin Cities supplies through interconnection of the Minneapolis - St. Paul water supply systems
• restore Lambert Lakes wetland to improve drinking water quality
